With a much better summer forcast for Milan compared to last year, i would ask us to cast our eyes to the future season and anticipate the season's results.

Many of the teams are all trying to improve their lines ups and MILAN is no exception.

With this in mind I would like to take a modest survey so we can all look back in MAY 2008 and regale each other with smart witticism's on how so and so was indeed a sage or was smoking something at the time of their picks.

So with out further ado who do you think will win the scudetto and WHY?

Milan has the best chance to win the scudetto this coming season.

Milan will be looking to add to its team in key positions.
The core of the team including Ronaldo however are here and have been here for years.
The youngsters on the team all have at least one year under their belts and will have to earn their positions.
Older players know they have some excellent prospects in the system and must continually push themselves to maintain their competitive edge.

One factor more than any other may contribute to their over all success. Ancelotti. He proved the vast majority of us wrong last season and really deserved coach of the year for the curves he and the team were thrown yet timed their peak at the right time and place.

Thus my vote is for Milan

Guiventus is a new one!!! La juventus will be right there because they only have the Serie A to concentrate on.
Milan will win it if they can play with consistency. At least inter won't get.

somehow i sense the worst case scenario here asscrack - can't seal it in though i just can't

having said that there's an awful lot of competitors out there which is good news to me i mean with so many teams doing well why rushing on top, not exceeding 4-5 points off the lead will do for now - but Genoa? one pint of the lager of your choice if they finish three or more points above drop zone, deal or no deal?

Maybe Napoli (winners of the Scudetto in 1990 when Milan was busy successfully defending its European Cup) should also be included in the list. After whipping Udinese 5-0 on matchday 2, i feel them, as an interesting team not necessarily top dog class.

I wonder if the Tuscans can eclipse what the yellow boys of Istanbul did to childish inter. I would be remarkable to see Mancini's face when Zlata fails to score because he says he wants more from the Swede wef match day 4. Go Livorno!!

well Genoa would fit in a longer list put it that way i mean i quite like them so to speak nevertheless i got a feeling that they just lack what it takes to make it to the top half of the full list - crossing fingers they will stay up, it's a big club with quite a tradition and passionately backed by the fans through endless yo-yo seasons mainly due to poor management as it happens, they should manage to keep themselves afloat, just

Well when it comes to Genoa Boriello has had a fine season for them so far with 7 goals.
Did Milan sell him or loan him to Genoa?

Milan may be down 22 currently but they have 4 games at hand and the Derby this weekend will be the start of a resurgent Milan and the downfall of the merdisti in blueblack.
They still will face additional injuries and Mancini does not know how to prep his team and balance the training for CL/Campionato/& coppa Italia.

Milan are about to get/get back to great players in Pato and Ronaldo not to mention a healthier bench with Jankulowski and Simic on the mend.
