Congo has won the top spot in qualification from the African nations.
The three other ar Nigeria Zambia and Gambia.
I find this very interesting as where are more traditional contenders like Egypt, Tunisia, Morrocco, Senegal, Cote D'ivoire and Cameroon.
Have a look at the official announcement.

I'll be cheering the Scots and Canada on.
My boys will be cheering on Argentina.
Obita who should we be looking at out of Africa?
I'm not a real fan of Nigeria but know virtually nothing about the others except Congo which i'm hearing positive things about.
Is there not a Congalese in the Milan JR ranks? Class of 93 I think.

It is kind of weird how they get a slot where the only competition is Fiji and the Solomon Islands ?!!?.
Not exactly fair to SA and Europe...
Oh well its something to keep them busy when they are not destroying the rest of the world in Rugby.

Well the draw is complete and what Shite!!!
I don't get one Scotland game in any of the preliminaries they are all being played in Victoria British Columbia!!

Here is the link with the complete table. Some one wanted some teams to obviously get through...

http://www.fifa.com/en/comp/U20M2007/to ... 11,00.html

I will have to put up with Zambia NZ Portugal (they will get Homefield Advantage since there are so many Portugese in Toronto) and Mexico....
Ottawa gets Argentina and Montreal gets Brazil and Korea (like French Canadians care squat about football)...

At least most of the playoff games will be in Toronto.
