Who needs samba girls when you hve the cream of French Canadian girls.
Lots of great looking women.
A couple of years back the MLB Major leagues of Baseball had a survey of which city the players liked the best for the food/nightlife/women.
Montreal won hands down. It seems they just like healthy young men....
I just wonder if a few teams will be without their legs on game day.

Canada's under 20 squad played a very lively game against Argentina in a friendly Friday and Argentina came away with a 2-1 win.
Argentina played a very dominant second half controlling ball possession very well but Canada showed some hidden talant and skill that the Pumas were not expecting in the first and paid for it.
As the host country I was worried but overall they will not be an embarrasement.
Good luck.

Well the first weekend is over and the results are impressive.
Canada looks to have sold over 1000000 tickets making this tournament the largest sporting event in Canadian history.
The major upsets so far are Poland beating Brazil 1-0 playing all but 26 minutes with 10 men.
Argentina was a major disappointment only drawing against the Chezch republic.
Japan outclassed Scotland that made 2 major goalkeeping blunders to lose 3-1 yesterday.
Canada got its head handed to it by a talented Chilean side that made diving a fine art and was aided by a generous referee.....that never called a dive despite several fine examples..... Unlike the game with Brazil where diving was not tolerated and dealt with promptly.
The South American teams are the one who dislike it the most.
The simple fact is with the globalization of the sport and playing during the winter or high summer require an non grass surface that will work for all countries.
The days of playing major clubs and tournaments on real grass will become a truly expensive luxury.

BRAZIL IS OUT!!!
In another stunner the USA beat Brazil 2-1 and Pato missed a chip shot at the start of the second half.
So in the group of death Poland and the USA advance while Brazil and the unfortunate South Korea will be going home.
Pato was the only spark they had other than Jo but again we see a disciplined side beat individual Brazilian prowess.
The irony was what broke Brazil was a piece of American brilliance where Freddy Adu cornered by 2 Brazilians in the corner flips the ball up and over and then steps away to make a deflected cross to an unmarked Altidore in the box for the tap in winning goal.
There will be lots of complaints and recriminations in South America tonight.

It would seem that I was premature.
Because Brazil finished 3rd in their group they barely squeezed through on goal differential and will now face Spain in the knock out round.
Part of this turn around is since ALL 4 African nations have advanced! Congo and Zambia got big win's in their final games and Nigeria drew with Japan to advance.
Congo despite being completely outplayed by Canada won 2-0 due to dreadful finishing on Canada's part.
Canada now enters the record books as the only host nation to never score and get a point in the tournament's history. A pretty dubious record.....
Obita it was facinating to watch the African's nations athleticism but they are knocking out opposition players at an alarming rate (Portugal lost Gama their star striker) and are running up an immpressive number of fouls and cardings... Great courage and a fearlessness that is simetimes unbelieveable. Zambia and Congo will shoot on net from practically anywhere on the pitch which some teams find very distracting and disconcerting. The way things are going they may still surprise a few people.
