Wednesday 9 august, kot 20.45 - San Siro, AC Milan v Red Star Belgrade

Tuesday 22 august, kot 21.00 - Maracana, Red Star Belgrade v AC Milan

at this time of the season i'd have much preferred the other way around, i mean to play the second game at home, anyhow, never mind, don't know much about the serbian side though except they've beaten Cork [1-0 and 3-0] in the second round

perhaps elmickio, our man in Ireland, can tell us more about them?

I agree, i think its better to have the home game as the second game. Dunno why though. Maybe its because after the first leg you know exactly what you have to do and are better able to implement it. Maybe its the home support behind you for the more important of the two legs also. but like u said GMT, never mind. The important thing is that we play as good for the two matches and definitely not take anything for granted. I hope to hear more about our opponents. I've heard little about Red Star Belgrade but their reputation says that they're quite strong opponents and might have a few tricks for milan to handle. Best of luck to the team.

They have a striker called Zigic who is 6' 8". Apparently he has a reputatioun of being a dangerous player and what I seen of him in the first leg he didn't play well. They played quite alot of long balls to him. Cork who had a weak side on where unlucky not to get something out of it. I never seen the second leg, but the tall striker scored and was quite a handfull (so I read). So if we keep him at bay and get a goal or two at home, I don't think we will have a problem.

Does anyone know how I can get to see the match? Some form of streaming or anything?
Cheers

hmm...I'm not sure where you can see the match. Sorry i cant help you there. Well I saw Zigic play all 3 of Serbia and Montenegro's world cup matches. He wasn't that active but was definitely the go-to guy. I cant recall that well but i dont think he was a regular starter either. I believe we can more than easily keep him quiet for the 2 games. I dont think he has too much pace to trouble the defense but his height would naturally pose a problem on those crosses and set pieces. Never the less he shouldnt be too much of a problem.

Hopefully will get it on SKY, anyhow, i'm already working on plan B, just in case

here's my starting point
http://www.streamsports.net/TOPo/index.php?m=top&s=out&ID=1153414356.1608

1 - once you got there scroll down a bit
2 - on the left hand side you'll see a section called 'programs'
3 - there's a wee prog called PPLive on top of the pile, get on it

i've just installed it and started watching the second half of Lanus v River Plate on CCTV5 [pretty annoying chinese commentary but surprisingly good picture quality, definitely much much better than a kick in the teeth]

there are quite a few sport channels to flick through though, still have to play with it and test it properly you see

have to say that i'm very pleased with what i've seen so far, easy peasy i would say, guess i'll get to see some Copa Libertadores games as well - can you hear me Obita?

enjoy

Milan will win, but the sheva absence still haunts me. Kaka should play and end this madrid man-hunt

i used to plan my summer hols accordingly with the fixtures and as it happens regularly at this time of the year Milan turns into Ghost City, no wonder roughly 25.000 tickets have been sold so far, have to say that i'd be surprised to see more than 50.000 fans flocking to the ground

the dutchman Jan Wegereef will referee the game

It's sure that Kaka will play the match for Milan. And after entered the group stage, Milan may bid for Ibra from juventus of Torres from Spain.
