There you go guys: West Ham have pulled off a major coup by signing Argentina World Cup stars Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano.
Striker Tevez, 22, and midfielder Mascherano, 22, join the Hammers from Brazilian side Corinthians on permanent deals for undisclosed fees.
So...looks like we where never actually linked and all our talk was for nothing! |

heard about that my friend, isn't it a kind of loan deal?
no offence intended to hammers and hammerettes of course - good for them - but it would seem such a waste |

Not loan, it's definitive.
Another shame of our staff.... |

West Ham? What did Tevez preferred that? With teams as Arsenal, Msrid, Chelsea, us...
It's a one-year deal so I will keep the hopes on, I will have to wait until the next year, but I don't care, as long as I get Tevez in red and black.
Well, our dream didn't came true, I'm glad this is over. |

Well as said not what we wanted.
We can console ourselves with the fact it is only a one year deal as Javo has mentioned.
What bothers me is the fact that we end up sending Amoroso packing back to Corinthians and we could not swing a better deal than WEST HAM!??! No offence but this has to be seen as a failure of the negotiating team. Especially with the antics which happened with Real Betis over Oliviera.
Further even though its one year it will be that much more expensive to pry Teves away from the EPL once he establishes himself. If he has a half decent season everyone in EPL with money will be lined up to sign him. Further if he does well in EPL he will be that more reluctant to move for he will be more comfortable with the syle of play and not want to start over in Italy.
Does anyone know if West Ham managed to get Corithians to waive the prohibative penalty clause? |

| Guys apparently they have signed permanent contracts, later to be unvieled. Still strange after a couple of hours settling in . |

| I've read they're just a one year contract, I think only to show their habilities in Europe, then they're jumping to another team, hopefully Milan |

isn't it bizarre, can't really see him staying at boleyn ground for long though, well unless the hammers are thinking big and planning ahead?
would have put a fiver on Villa due their new owner, Roeder or something, apparently too rich to be real but not the Hammers, they were nowhere near the bottom of the list
bah, one of the most unexplicable football mystery ever, still have to get my head around it |

Seems like MSI has something to do with it....strange is the fact that they aren't disclosing the details of the deal....still wondering if the long arm of Abramovich is involded in it......
In the meantime......
I'm forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air,
They fly so high,
Nearly reach the sky,
Then like my dreams
They fade and die.
Fortune's always hiding,
I've looked everywhere,
I'm forever blowing bubbles,
Pretty bubbles in the air. |
