| broadly speaking i would agree with you javo i do prefer hungry youngsters to old farts as well thing is players like Kaka born just once every 20 years - then when it comes to keepers a 30 years old goalie is not an old fart by the way |

Time to reopen this one again.
While all of think Dida's best games are behind him and that Milan should sign a new keeper I do not see it happening till the summer.
The people we need are AN amazing central defender and right back. Kaladze continues to make mistakes (todays conceeded penalty kick is a case in point) and a regular on the right (Puyol) would be great to give us consistancy since we are doing the Bonera/Oddo shuffle at the moment.
In Mid lets see about Ronaldinho and Diego.
And I think it is time to let Gila go and play somewhere where he can start regularly and pick up Benzema in his place or recall Boriello back at the end of the season from Genoa since he seems to have gotten over the scoring block he had in serie A.

Bonera played well there tonight, he dosent go forward as much but he's not a bad defender who will only get better! Kompany is one that I would like to see, I still don't Boriello (sorry Obita) Gila might get it going now with a partner up front besides Pippo, so he 's in last chance saloon!
Benzema is silly money, Can't wait to see Januloski back he's quality! |

El don't worry, Borriello still entertains me from Genoa...he is doing just fine. Benzema is good but now things are getting to his head, I would prefer Huntelaar who is more modest and extremely prlific.
Gila will not be a necessity if we get Huntelaar or sheva back. |

Gila played a great game today and almost scored a number of times in the first 20 minutes and then the feeds stopped.
He also made a great defensive play that should have been gattuso in the second half and I think that is why Ancelotti left him on.
Kaka and seedorf were not clicking today and the midfield was playing with too much separation between the 3- and the 2.
Why is Gourcuff not playing? Subbing emerson was good but ambrosini and Pirlo were having to fall back and defend full time many times during the game.
Both Maldini and Oddo gave up very dangerous balls that almost cost Milan.
In the end Milan got a very important 3 points. |

| Gourcuff gets chances but shows very little. Look at Pato who is younger and what he is doing! Gourcuff just needs to show more character and determination to earn his place. I am happy that the pressure is now off Kaka and the press has left him alone |
