Well the team just went through the renewal process for season tickets.
I am now up to 5 front rows shared with some friends from work.
The team upped the # of season tickets to 16000 and they are all gone. That is all paid for in OCT 07 for the 08 season.
This leaves only 4500 seats for half game season packs and individual tickets only on a one off basis.
They had better do better this coming season.
There is already talk of increasing the stadium to 25-28,000 seats with most being season tickets.
Not too shabby for North America. Also if you look at the statistics the MLS continues to increase attendance.
So while Toronto has the largest "Comitted fan base" (highest season ticket numbers) teams like LA and Chicago continue to increase their attendance but it is usually game packs and one off sales.
We are looking at Montreal and vancouver joining the league in a few years raising the number of teams to 16 and see where the youth development and feeder system starts to kick in and allow for more NA players to play at home rather than B & C divisions in europe or elsewhere.
Toronto itself needs to get a new coach though. Mo Johnston is too fixated on solely European players. Give me a decent Argentine midfielder with a Brezilian and Uruguayan thrown in and this team could do some things...
I will continue to keep you posted as more develops.
As far as joy Only Milan gives me true joy. I support Toronto to see football develop as a viable sport in North America, rather than sports like the NFL and NBA which is for doped up mutants....
Well we are in the boat. It is so saddening that nothing pains now. We win, we lose it makes not big difference because we are still very far from the top. I need the green-white-red badge on my shirt next season.

Rumors continue to swirl as who is to follow Beckham and Gullit as the new coach in LA.
The latest is Veron/Ronaldo with New York as the likely destination.
Figo has now also been linked with Toronto due to the large Expatriate Portugues community here.
If I wanted two veterans from Europe I would go for Rui Costa or Figo... Both would be ideal.
They need top veteran pro's to teach these guys what they need to take it to the next level.....
Real Madrid however has expressed interest in MLS rookie of the year Maurice Edu of Toronto FC.
Very flatering but Ican't see him ever getting into the starting line up....
