Hello english speaking friends...
A petition has been started this morning with the intent to let AC Milan know that we ar growing tired by the minute of Carlo Ancelotti. His adventure with AC Milan has ended back in May 25th 2005 and noone took notice of this.
Is time that a new face takes the helm of the team and stear it in a new direction.
Please sign it and let other people know...this petition will then be forwarded to Milan website and to the major newspapers and sports related internet sites, hoping that our feelings are made known and that maybe the ones in charge will listen to us.

Thank you |

welcome back to th english forum nit3r, it has been a while.
While not many have been calling for Ancelotti's scalp this season i find it interesting that Bayern have just sacked Magath for being in a much better position than Carletto especially over the last two seasons.
Galliani seems to favour certain people much more than others and has a much higher tolerance of lack of success than many other clubs in europe.
I am curious to see what happens at the end of this season regardless since our only goal seems to be getting to 4th spot to qualify for CL next season....
Talk about setting your sights low for a team with our history of success. |

Thanks for the welcome back...
You got that right....Capello, Sacchi and Zaccheroni were given the sack for much less misfortune...Looks like Carletto is Untouchable and taht is impossible to understand...since Instanbul he wasn;t able to get his thought straight, he didn't understood that the final was a turning point and he kept on trying and replicate the success with the same formation (can't call it tactic since it looks like every man for himself out on the pitch) and the same block of players....
Is doing with Gourcouff the same mistake he did with Dorashoo and Voegel and I would not be surprise if the french kid starts to complain and asks to be transfered. I am not saying Yoann is the solution for the problems we have, but could give a breather to Seedorf or Kaka for a start.
But until Ancelotti warms our bench we can only see the same old 11 players each game...I would love to know why he played Simic right back and Cafu midfielder yesterday and kept Oddo as a sub..... |

hello there nit3r, took my time to go through that petition thingy
they must have learned something from past mistakes [Sacchi, Capello, Zaccheroni] thank the lord i'd say it was about time, what i'm saying here is, while Ancelotti's responsabilities remain debatable i do not agree, broadly speaking, with the principle of firing a coach halfway through the season, as our city rivals' past experiences could clearly tell it doesn't pay off but, that aside - and more importantly - it remains unclear to me who's going to be the next coach, like any team we need one, that petition doesn't say much on the matter
as for the Roma game i'd have fielded a youth team, just like Wegner does at Arsenal, as elmickio pointed out last night |

Hello GMT...
the point here is not firing Ancelotti now...it won't change much taking also in condiseration that the 2nd trasnfer window is closed; but I do believe that he should get the sack as soon as the season is over regardles of the final results, is clear that the team is not following him and he doesn't have ideas on how to (at least try) shaken things up. He is brain dead as far as changing formations and most of all as far as the players he fields week after week.
The petition intent is to let Galliani & Co. know that we the fans are tired of a stalling situation that is coming along since 2005...we haven't took home a single piece of silverware for years now and this season ain't happening either.
As far as replacement goes Lippi, HIddink, Spalletti (though because he just extended is contract), Rijkaard, Van Basten, Mourinho could all be possible candidates... |

well yeah the list of possible candidates seems to be almost endless, Hiddink would be my pick, couldn't really see the club keeping my choice into account though
as for the lack of silverware over the last few years well there's nothing to be ashamed of, i think i will survive without it, not going to jump off the Humber bridge that's for definite - on the other hand i can understand our young, even spoiled fans, they got used to achievieng trophies season in season out but they'll have to come to terms with the principle that we can't always win, that's just unreal |

Yeah that is true...I am amongst the older (not oldest) fans and I went through 2 relegations...
The lack of silverware is more on how we missed out on those trophies than on the missing out itself...juve was cheating shamelessly and that took care of the league...
The major point is that Ancelotti's game is very predictable and even rocks knows how to counter it, same to be told on who's gnna play next week...you that (injury aside) the starting lineup will always be the same regardless of the players condition....his lack or rotation brought us 2 years in a row to be out of gas comes the spring[img], or at least some vital elements of the team...
I think we need some fresh air but not just on the coaching side, we need new players too to replace the oldest ones that have given so much to Milan but not so sure on how much more they can give us... |

i'm very proud of having taken part in those two miserable seasons myself, including the whole set of Mitropa Cup games, i was a regular at the San Siro at that time you see, no matter the weather no matter the competition no matter the opponents, in one word proper nutter
as you probably remember those were the days when 60 thousand souls would turn up at the gates for a Coppa Italia tie against Verona literally shouting their lives away throughout the whole game turning San Siro into a very intimidatory place for our opponents, that was some atmosphere, as opposed to the other week's semi when only 5 thousand loyals took the trouble to attend the Roma game - mind you, a crowd of 40 thousand attended the second leg in Roma, i guess it's matter of hunger - nowadays you get to San Siro and you could even stretch yourself out over three seats no problem, you don't get to see full house unless we're taking on the likes of Barca or Madrid in a CL semi
anyhows the point i'm trying to make you see here is, to those demanding, even spoiled fans who can't cope with occasionally unsuccessful seasons and want this new coach and that new striker i say i want those passionate old-school fans back in the stands first then we'll start debating about other stuff - it's nothing personal mate, just chatter
having said that, and more to the topic, i do agree on the players rotation bit, i would like to see more of Grimi and Gourcuff in particular |

| Well it is what is in the heart that matters. our trophy cabinet is quite packed and if the club thinks Ancelotti can still do it then we wait and see after all the guy is one of the best coaches in Italy. the fact is that no coach can win a trophy every season, in football you go down and up and it's normal. that petition is uncalled for especially when the problem is with players like Dida, Simic, and Oli |
