GMT, i liked Gilardino but would still blame Ancelotti for fielding him, because the boy is just too clumsy for life. missing a penalty is part of football but not when they misses are very rampant from the spot, from the goal like and from any area near the goal. Ancelotti seem not to like Fillipo who can shoot on traget with eyes closed.

Obita, that's awesome!
so when Gilardino misses a sitter Ancelotti is to blame for fielding him
well at this rate Galliani is to blame for signing the deal
no hang on a sec, Berlusconi is to blame for giving thumbs up and splashing out the money
no no wait, incompetent fans are to blame for wanting him so desperately
the chain of shifting responsabilities is now eventually completed, over to you

Sorry people but regardless of who is at the helm I cannot ever hope for Milan to loose.
That sentiment has cost me dearly this year in the predictor game but I won't do it.

If the last game against Bayern is any indication though you have got to think there will be changes at most levels at the end of this seasoon regardless of how the team ends up.

I agree, I don't want Milan to loose, but I know that if it happens, big changes may come with it, and those changes make me think that the team would improve (talking about Ancelotti). I mean sometimes changes are not bad, and sometimes changes are needed, and I think that's the situation here, we need a change of filosophy here. Ancelotti's done

Of course Milan will win, and that is what we live for, ins't it guys?
GMT, the blame cascade is too endless if we take your path. the point is, with a 4-3-2-1 formation, a slow forward who seem to have watery knees cannot do much. and i know the coach sees him in training more than us all and that is why he picks him and how come he does bad on the field when apparently he is better than the Pippo's in training? Attitude or something else? i would pick a match performer than a king at training after judging what goes on like during the Bayern game. Gilardino fits in a 4-4-2 formation and not a 'christmas tree'.

actually the reasoning behind shifting responsability to your liking remains obscure to me but then again that's what you came up with, your path not mine, i've just gone through the whole chain from start to end since i don't like getting things done by half you see

regardless of the formation Gilardino's performance is constantly disappointing, to put it mildly

now then, blaming the coach for fielding a player who's unable to take up his responsability is only the comfiest and to some extent cheapest answer - said that you can bury your head in the sand get a new coach keep your fingers firmly crossed rely on your lucky star and hope for the best, i'd hardly define all this as good piece of management but it does work at times

Well to take an opposite view of what Ancelotti has done this year is what Capello did at Real Madrid.
He benched the players who he felt were not performing.

Look how Ronaldo responded being traded to Milan.
Beckham well he got injured but will be very very happy in LA no matter what he actually does on the pitch.
As far as Capello I don't get the warm fuzzies that that is a match made in heaven
