| Before the first ball was kicked at White Hart Lane to kick EPL season off, all pundits were licking their lips to imagine hwo beatable Man United were going to be with Carlitos, Ronaldo and Rooney....with two odour draws under their belts, Ronaldo and Rooney out, United suddenly looks vulnerable. Now that is the beauty of Football |

Yes the Portuguese mr Ronaldo is gone for a 3 game suspension and 176000 Euro finr for his petulence.
Sir Alex is complaining good players are getting hacked though this year in the EPL.....
I can't comment but what about you UK residents? GMT, Elmickio do you see any truth to it. |

Klootzak, here are some corrections and other perspectives:
1. It was fB Stuttgart and not Werder Bremen that won the Bundesliga last season, Bremen finished 3rd behind Schalke and Stuttgart.
2. inter's and Real's league triumphs of last season are not worth mentioning because they did win because of calamities that befell other teams. The real winners are the ones you see soring with victories now.
Man United are suffering a natural phenomenon in football that says: everyone wins, loses and draws! |

Well tonight I caught a tape delay of the Man U Tottenham game and man were Man U lucky to win.
IF Tottenham's petulant Bulgarian had played the ball better and quit trying to dive for penalties he could have scored a brace.
The spurs finishing was atrocious and showed Man U's defence to be very porous indeed.
The only bright spot was Nani's pace and Tevez's tenacity. |

In the end the season is long and lets see what they are made of.
I can gaurantee it is not sugar.
Just out of curiosity has any team impressed any of you so far in the EPL?
